1. forum on fatwallet, a lot of car rental and hotel thread
2. kayak.com, good for check airfair and car rental, hotel fee is expensive than those given in fatwallet.
3. Southwest.com, cheapest in most cases. One-way $49 between major cities.
I do not like travelocity, orbitz, etc. Neither bid in priceline or hotwire. In many cases, they charge much more than what you could find even for their last minut package. March 23 LA is too large and crowded!!!In a word, it is a great vacation with sunshine, palms, beach, hollywood and disneyland. And LA is a wonderful city except its horribly large size and terrible traffic. There is still traffic jam in the highway with 16 lanes. Can you image that?

Ipod sucks! Hitachi sucks! December 19 King Kong and Memoirs of a Geisha昨天和晓利，昶乐还有沈峰去downtown看电影了，金刚和艺妓回忆录。
金刚很感人，比我想象的好多了。我原以为只是宏大的场面的堆砌。前一半有点恐怖，主要是孤岛上的土著人还有很多很大很恶心的生物。后一部分比较感人，尤其是King Kong被锁在剧院里的那一段，还有在楼顶的那部分。赞！
艺妓回忆录只能用烂来形容了。章子怡和巩俐的英语真是让人反胃。如果不仔细听，都听不出来她们说的是英语，以巩俐阿姨为甚。整部片子里，巩利的头发都是乱糟糟的，有点恐怖，不过演技还可以。章子怡唯一值得赞的就是头发还算整齐，不过只有一种表情，板着个脸。只能说是鸡肋，食之无味，弃之可惜，还是因为现在看电影不是Free的缘故。终于可以理解，为什么有的影评家将艺妓回忆录归为最差的几部电影之一。估计也只能唬弄不太懂的老美了。

I have new boots12/10
I went to downtown this afternoon and got new boots. What made me happier was that Jiayue successfully bargained and got an extra 20% off the sales price. This was the first time we bargained in US and felt really good.
Downtown had a different scenery with Hyde Park where it was still quiet as usual. Every store was decorated with Christmas lights and trees. I suddenly felt Christmas was coming.
I spared some time to go to the Marshell Field's in State Street, the oldest store of Mashell Field's, before it is changed to Macy's. In my opinion, it was of more elegance and nobleness compared with other department stores in Michigan Avenue. Maybe because I always have a special favor for historical things. December 15 电影往事12/09
考完试的第一个周末，看了《电影往事》，很感人，至少我是这样觉得的。讲的是露天电影流行的那个年代，内容有点像《天堂电影院》。以前看过《天堂电影院》，没有什么感觉，不知怎么却对《电影往事》情有独钟。可能是在这里没有ftp和免费的电影，每部片子都是用心看的缘故吧。
